چکیده
Background: The excessive sweating of the body beyond physiological need is termed as hyperhidrosis. Objective: this study aimed to determine efficacy tap water iontophoresis and aluminium chloride for treatment palmoplantar Study design: It randomized control trial based interventional study. Material Method: This was conducted at Department Dermatology, Niazi Medical Dental College, Sargodha. duration six month from July 2022 December 2022. patients diagnosed with hyperhidrosis were selected research. included in group 1 treated tape (TWI). 2 20% hexahydrate (AC) liquid solution. given 4 weeks. Adherence monitoring done by participant self-report diary results assessed. Results: average value production sweat calculated. both groups indicates a difference greater than 0.05, which non-significant. observed be 9.76 ± 2.3 g no. 1, percentage also get lowered. While case reduction 4.3 1.58 there up 65.8 9.87 % significant according p. When HDSS (hyperhidrosis disease severity) compared, no values groups. But end study, when mean severity compared groups, changes 2. Conclusion: aluminum controlling normal level. that along direct current palmer much more efficient way Keywords: Hyperhidrosis, current, iontophoresis, Aluminum Chloride hexahydrate, Hyperhidrosis scale (HDSS).

The Effect and Persistency of 1% Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate Iontophoresis in the Treatment of Primary Palmar Hyperhidrosis
Topical solutions containing aluminum chloride are known to be the first line of therapy for hyperhidrosis. Palmar hyperhidrosis however, is less responsive to aluminum chloride therapy and successful treatment may require 6-8 h application of high concentrations up to 30% that commonly leads to skin irritation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 30 min iontophoretic appl...
